This is the site of the famous Hacienda owned by Factory Records. The original building was demolished
in February 2002 to make room for luxury apartments. The Smiths played The Hacienda three times: their third gig on 02/04/83
opening for the Factory band 52nd Street, 07/06/83, and 11/24/83 with James as the opening band.
